1 | Panama Viejo (also called Panama La Vieja) was the first European settlement on the Pacific Coast of the Americas. It was founded in 1519 by Pedro Aras de çvila and inhabited until 1672 when the English bucaneer Henry Morgan attacked and destroyed the city. |
